WHO WE ARE & WHAT WE DO

We are a non-profit organization, whose mission is to provide mobile vision services, clothing, food, and other vital resources, for at-risk and vision-impaired youth in underserved communities. We will be starting in, but not limited to, the Atlanta Metropolitan area. Our goal is to provide services that help kids develop into healthy, well-rounded, successful adults.

The Founder of SPEC LIFE, Danielle "DeeDee" Wright, is a young woman who has suffered from a degenerative eye disease since birth. However, she was not properly diagnosed until the age of 4. Wright created SPEC LIFE with the purpose of providing at-risk and underserved youth (ages 0-17) with early and consistent access to critical vision and health services for FREE. A few of those services include:

  • Free Eye exams

  • Free prescription eyeglasses (frames and lenses)

  • Access to mobile vision clinic

  • Clothing and food drives

  • Back to School giveaways and MORE!

Your contributions to our cause, whether via volunteerism, donations, or sponsorship, make it possible for us to continue to provide the aforementioned services to youth in need. We are truly grateful for all of your efforts.

Thank you!
